Machine weaving looks snappy and proficient and it seems it is the way forward. This course definitely looks good as a starting point.
Quick question: How fast is machine weaving, lets say if the weaving design is chosen – Will it be done under two days ?
This is indeed a very good beginner machine embroidery course for those thinking of starting out with machine embroidery. In regards to your question. It depends on several factors. A couple of factors that may play a role is how experienced the embroiderer is, how advanced the embroidery machine is you are using and how complex the project is that you are looking to accomplish.
If you for example already have an embroidery design on a memory stick for the creation of an embroidery patch, then the embroidery patch can literally be created within minutes. Assuming you are using a modern embroidery machine, you can simply pop the memory stick into the embroidery machine, insert the correct coloured threads, place the embroidery hoop in the correct position, press a couple of buttons and the design will be automatically embroidered for you within minutes.
If you are working on a design that is a lot more freeform and therefore depends on a lot more creativity, then of course it will take a lot longer.
I guess it is therefore fair to say that some designs can take minutes, where others can take weeks or even months depending on the time you have available and the complexity of the project you are working on.
If your question was more related to the completion of the 4 projects in this beginner embroidery course, then you can have a look at the breakdown of the course material, which outlines the time needed for each activity.
